- 2 cups (8 oz) small seashell macaroni (may use any small sized pasta)
- 1 rounded cup cubed cheddar cheese
- 1 can (6.4 oz) F/V Sonja Canned Albacore Tuna, undrained
- 1 cup coarsely chopped dill pickles (sweet pickles if preferred)
- 1 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup minced white or yellow onion
- 1/2 - 2/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp pickle juice
- 1/2 tsp salt (more or less to taste)
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 or 3 cloves crushed garlic
- Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse
in cold water.
- Place tuna in large bowl and mix in can juices until absorbed.
Add macaroni, cheese, pickles, olives, onion and garlic.
- In a separate bowl mix mayonnaise, 2 tbsp pickle juice, salt and
pepper. Pour over macaroni mixture and toss.
- Cover and chill.
